What is Therapia Zone?
Therapia Zone is where children learn and develop outside the typical learning environment. Through the use of client-centered therapy and/or specialized tutoring tailored for every student, clinicians use an eclectic approach to meet the unique needs of each child. Areas of weakness are addressed by our clinicians who use specific strategies to achieve desired and agreed upon goals.

Therapia Zone was founded by Jessica Lee Piernik in 2016.
Jessica Lee Piernik obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and American Studies from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She received her Graduate Level Teacher Certification from Rider University and worked as a Special Education Teacher in the East Brunswick as well as the Marlboro Township Public School districts.
Jessica earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Services, with a specialization in School Counseling. Then, she fulfilled additional requirements to become an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in Counseling Services. Currently, Jessica is employed as a School Counselor and Anti-Bullying Specialist in Rumson, New Jersey and conducts private therapy sessions on a part-time basis.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Jessica creates a comfortable environment where each therapeutic relationship is tailored to meet individual needs.
